F7SUMMIT SPAIN 2026 will be held at SPORTCITIES Expo&Summit Valladolid, as a major International Platform to promote the "official" and global recognition Football 7.
- The strategic event, promoted by the Football 7 Worldwide Project (F7WW), will bring together institutional leaders, Football Legends, investors, leading national and international companies, social integration sports organizations, etc., on October 22nd to advance the official recognition of Football 7 by FIFA, and support a potential future Bid by Spain to host the First FIFA Football 7 World Cup.
Madrid, 29 april 2026
On the morning of October 22nd, a Football 7 Exhibition Match will be held featuring national and international Football Legends and Personalities, as well as Deaf Football 7 Teams. This event is designed to generate significant media visibility and introduce the Project to a wider audience.
In the afternoon, the F7SUMMIT SPAIN 2026 will take place, structured around four main themes: the official presentation of the FIFA Football 7 / F7WW Project, the F7WW City Project (as the global Headquarters), the Social Integration Project (Deaf Football 7 World Championship), and the “Football 7 Legends World Tour” Project.
This ecosystem aims to position 7-a-side football as a tool for inclusion, urban development, and sports diplomacy, using SPORTCITIES as an international launching platform and a point of connection between sport, city, innovation, and investment.
Alberto Pastor, director of F7WW, highlighted the importance of holding this event within SPORTCITIES and the strategic value it represents for the global growth of this discipline:
“SPORTCITIES represents the best possible setting to promote Football 7 internationally, because it connects precisely the pillars our project needs: sport, city, institutional framework, investment, and global reach. Valladolid will be the world epicenter of Football 7 that day, and this F7SUMMIT SPAIN 2026 represents a decisive step both towards the official recognition of Football 7 by FIFA, and towards Spain's Bid to host the future First FIFA Football 7 World Cup,” Pastor stated.
For his part, Raúl Calleja, director of SPORTCITIES, emphasized the importance of incorporating events with this international scope and potential impact into the platform:
“It’s a real privilege to have top-tier international events like F7SUMMIT SPAIN 2026 within SPORTCITIES. These events not only provide visibility and positioning, but also generate real opportunities for connection between sport, city, investment, and innovation. SPORTCITIES was created precisely with this aim: to be the space where the major projects of the future of sport are built. Football 7 has enormous potential for global growth, and events like this allow us to give it maximum international exposure, as well as attract top-level influencers from the world of football and consolidate new opportunities for the development of the sector,” says Calleja.
With this addition, SPORTCITIES Expo&Summit 2026 reinforces its position as one of the leading international platforms for sport business, sports tourism, and innovation applied to sport, consolidating Valladolid as a strategic meeting point for the development of new sporting models with global impact.
F7SUMMIT SPAIN 2026 thus aspires to become much more than a sector conference: a true International Platform for visibility, institutional legitimacy, and growth for the future of Football 7 worldwide.
